Bible & Chapel Services

Bible study is recognized at Maranatha as of fundamental importance and is a required subject. It augments the study of all other subjects. Without the knowledge of Biblical truth a student cannot be considered educated. The Bible gives direction for life, and is the only hope of the life to come. No other book can so enrich the minds and hearts of men as “The Book of Books.” For the purpose of educational uniformity and Scripture memory, the King James Version of the Bible is used. Chapel speakers will be requested to use this text so that our students will have no problem following the reading.

Knowledge of the Bible is one of the greatest educational assets any man can have in addition to the moral and spiritual values resulting from the study of it. Character development is the most important work of a school. No other course offered in the school affords the great opportunities for laying the foundation for Christian character as the Bible.

Bible Study is Fundamental

Bible class is held four days a week with one day set aside as a Chapel day. Chapel guests include speakers who challenge and inspire students to practice the truths of God’s word.
